Responsive design

The word responsive refers to sensitivity and the ability to react. In the context of websites, it means functionality that allows content to be displayed in a planned way, adapted to the size of the browser window while maintaining good readability and aesthetics. This matters especially on mobile devices. The term has been spreading since 2010. Thanks to the capabilities of CSS3 cascading style sheets, it is possible to prepare different display variants of a single page template for specific mobile devices and computer screen resolutions.

Several resolution variants are typically used:

  • for resolutions above 1024 pixels
  • for mobile devices between 440 and 800 pixels
  • for mobile devices at 320 pixels

How much does a project with responsive templates cost?

Depending on the complexity of the project being implemented, responsive templates can be assumed to cost around 50% of the value of the basic project.
Each implementation of responsive templates is quoted individually. The amount of work involved, e.g. in coding them, depends mainly on the number of installed modifications.
