"One-Author Theatre" - an invitation

Together with Teatr Praska 52, we invite you to an illustrated lecture by Andrzej Bogunia-Paczyński - documentary maker, Polish philologist, historian and researcher of Kraków's history - taking place on Tuesday 5 April at 7 pm.

Andrzej Bogunia-Paczyński will present one part of the series he has titled: "All Around Wojtek, or Horses, Women and Automobiles in the Life of a Painter".

The series consists of 8 engaging illustrated lectures in which the author reveals the painter Wojciech Kossak as a pioneer of motoring and the first president of the Kraków Automobile Club (1914), drawing on his "Memoirs" (1912) and "Letters to His Wife and Friends (1883-1942)" published by Kazimierz Olszański (1985), together with selected literary texts, press articles and archival documents.

The author will present Part VII, "Between Kraków and Zakopane (1908-1914)", the first event of its kind at Kraków's Teatr Praska 52 - and perhaps not the last.
