Diary of a Beholder (Polish: Dziennik Obserwatora), directed by Jarosław Migoń, has won a Gold Globe at the World Media Festival 2017 in Hamburg. The film, co-produced by grafiQa and Krakovia Producciones (Chile), won 3 awards.

As the winner in the DOCUMENTARY: ART category, DZIENNIK OBSERWATORA (English title: DIARY OF A BEHOLDER) was automatically nominated for special awards, including the intermedia-globe-Grand Prix and the intermedia-globe-Grand Award. The special award winners were announced during a gala ceremony held on the evening of 10 May at the Delphi Showpalast in Hamburg. "Diary of a Beholder" received the intermedia-globe-Grand Award and the "Magic Eye" award for best camera work. The awards were collected by the film's producer, director and screenwriter, Jarosław Migoń, and co-producer Francisco Bassignana Ravinet.

DIARY OF A BEHOLDER - is a 60-minute film made by Jarosław Migoń. It portrays twelve days in the life of painter and printmaker Jacek Sroka and the stories of 10 selected paintings by the artist. The narrative is based on the artist's diary - or rather anti-diary - written in 1996, on material and conversations recorded over recent years of collaboration with Jacek Sroka, and on archive footage including material from the 1980s. It also contains dramatised scenes shot in November and December 2016. Of particular note is the soundtrack (post-produced at MAQ RECORDS STUDIO), filled with music composed and performed by Marcin Gałażyn (MGM) of Motion Trio. The full band - Janusz Wojtarowicz, Paweł Baranek and Marcin Gałażyn - as well as references to the SROKA IN MOTION project can also be seen and heard in the film.

More information about the film can be found on the dziennikobserwatora.com website.
