Open Solution will soon release new versions: Quick.Cms v5.3 and Quick.Cart v6.3

In the second half of December 2013, Open Solution plans to release new versions of the free editions of Quick.Cms and Quick.Cart and the paid editions of Quick.Cms.Ext and Quick.Cart.Ext.

From the many suggestions submitted by users of the scripts, the developers have introduced a number of interesting changes:

• the option to display a list of subpages as names only
• several improvements that make working in the admin panel more pleasant for clients
• additional security, e.g. a limit on the number of characters sent by e-mail and a new extension added to the list of forbidden file extensions
• the option to hide images in page details and display them only in the list – Quick.Cms.Ext and Quick.Cart.Ext only
• the option to require acceptance of the terms and conditions during user registration – Quick.Cms.Ext and Quick.Cart.Ext only
• optimisation (faster performance) of the script
• cropping image thumbnails to specific proportions – Quick.Cms.Ext and Quick.Cart.Ext only
• the option to hide specific form fields whose modification could cause the webmaster a lot of trouble – Quick.Cms.Ext and Quick.Cart.Ext only
• dynamic generation of META descriptions, very useful for Google results – Quick.Cms.Ext and Quick.Cart.Ext only
