Problems sending emails on home.pl

Home.pl has changed its anti-spam protection » on its servers. For some time now, users of OpenSolution scripts have been reporting problems receiving emails sent via the contact form in Quick.Cms.Ext and Quick.Cart.Ext. A similar problem affects order confirmation emails sent to customers by Quick.Cart and Quick.Cart.Ext.

Solution:

• edit the "config/general.php" file and set the variable $config['order_details_from_customer'] to false – applies only to Quick.Cart v6.x and Quick.Cart.Ext v6.x
• go to the admin panel and, in the configuration, fill in the fields (if present) "New order notification email" and "Contact email" with an email address created on the home.pl server
• edit the "core/common.php" file and change "From:" to "Reply-to:"

Then test that emails are sent correctly by entering an email address outside home.pl in the order and contact forms (if you don't have one, create a test address on wp.pl or onet.pl).

According to OpenSolution, Home.pl is good-quality hosting, but after 10 years of observation they admit that it is unpredictable and recommend using recommended hosting providers that have been running reliably for years »
