QuickStockPhoto
A new Quick.Tool.Factory modification that turns Quick.Cart EXT into an easy-to-use photo shop. Until now, the biggest challenge for users of this kind of project was entering thousands of products – a time-consuming and tedious task. Our modification makes all that unnecessary.
How does it work?
Simply create the subpages that the photos are to be assigned to in the admin panel. Matching folders are generated automatically on the FTP server. All the user has to do is upload the original-size photos and thumbnails (e.g. 900px), named using the appropriate syntax. Running the "import photos" option in the admin panel starts the automatic generation of products, each with a photo thumbnail, a watermarked enlargement, a name, an author from the author list and other product parameters as required.
Who is it for?
The tool is designed for individual photo catalogues or galleries of works sold online. Because of its database type, Quick.Cart has its limitations. Until now, implementations with 2–3 thousand products were fairly rare, not least because of the way products had to be entered. Our latest implementation has shown that Quick.Cart Ext 5.2 with over 6,000 products is doing well and runs reliably.
Where is it used?
The first implementation was launched for the Pasja Dance Studio - galeria.pasja.krakow.pl. More coming soon.
